- The holiest and most ancient of Hindu scriptures. There are four of them
(Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva), each of which is divided into four parts of which the final and most spiritual consists of the Upanishads.
- Vishnu
- This is the name of the preserver deity in the Hindu religious tradition and one of the three main deities. The other two main deities are Mrahma and Shiva.
