- Karma
- Known also as the law of cause and effect or the law of retribution. Karma is the principle that every action, good or evil (whether in thought, word or deed), will eventually return to impact a person's life.
- Kriya
- A disciplinary meditation practice where one runs energy from the coccyx, up through the spine and out the top of the head.
The Kriya technique and practice originated millenniums ago in India and is
referenced by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita and by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras.
- Kundalini
- A powerful current of creative life energy residing or "sleeping" in a subtle coiled passageway
at the base of the spine. In ordinary consciousness, the body’s life force flows
in through the top of the head and down the spine to the coccyx.
Through higher meditative states of consciousness, the "sleeping" kundalini energy
at the base of the spine can be awakened and the body's life force reversed to flow
from the coccyx back up the spine. In awakening and flowing up the spine, the
Kundalini energy awakens the dormant spiritual faculties in the cerebrospinal centers (chakras).
Kundalini is often called the “serpent force,” because of its coiled configuration.
